#1. Leave your heart at home until you have spent enough time here to know what’s going on.
Many men/woman come here and meet some knock down gorges young woman/man and their brain stops working. They start using different parts of their bodies to think.
You are dealing with pros here they will say anything to get your emotional side to loosen your wallet.
#2. If you plan on living here no problem. If you plan on taking your new find out of the country do not let her know at the beginning that this is your intension. Many would love to leave the country and will do what is necessary to go. Your will need a lot of time to prepare a person on how people will respond in a different culture.
#3. Think and act poor or cheap. This helps eliminating the gold diggers. You don’t need to impress these girls. Most that I know would be willing to marry a man just for a little better life and not being beaten. It is sad to say that the women here get misused and abused by Dominican men [not all].
#4. Believe only what they demonstrate and not what they say. Lying here is normal; it seems to be a game to tell you what you want to hear. Even asking directions they will seldom say they don’t know they will tell you how to get there even if they don’t know.
#5. Communications here when you get here what ever you do will be communicated to the next. For example if you told a girl I like sitting on the beach in the moonlight don’t be surprised if the next girl says that she loves sitting on the beach in the moonlight. I’m 5 miles away from the hotel in Luperon and hear all the gossip.
After all that come and enjoy yourself
