Are you a blogger, a podcaster, a photoblogger, a videoblogger (or a writer, photographer, or videographer with an interest in blogging)? Then read on:
The Project: I'm an American who will be traveling over the next year on several continents and living primarily in Asia. I've been blogging for awhile and am looking for like-minded, well-traveled folk who are currently traveling or living outside their home countries to participate in a group blogging project. The project's goal is to communicate cross-cultural perspectives of diverse locales, cultures, arts, issues, etc. around the world to an international audience.
Requirements: You can be of any race, nationality, or creed, the only requirement is that you are living outside your home country. If you participate, you can write about any topic that suits your fancy from politics to sports to food to art, so long as it is somehow connected to your present location. Permanent bloggers would be asked to submit at least one post, photograph, or podcast per week. Occasional or guest bloggers also welcome. With the exception of those who are interested in 100% photoblogging, you should be highly proficient in English. I am looking for people with a skill for communicating and creating compelling written, auditory and/or visual content.
Caveat: There is no financial reward to be gained, but you'll get the chance to become part of an international, multilingual community and also gain more exposure for yourself as a writer and thinker (if that's what you're into).
To Learn More: If you are interested in particpating and would like more information, email me (worldisroundblog@gmail.com) the following:
