Hello friends

The following tips are are for those gorgeous girls and mature women who spend their quality time in Gym to look the same outside of the Gym as well ?
Have Fun ....

1. Throw out your bodysuits and leg warmers

Avoid oversized shirts and shorts. While these items might feel comfortable they tend to make you look unkept and can be hazardous if they get caught in an exercise machine. If you want to look your absolute best, choose outfits that fit your body well and are in colors that flatter you.

2. Choose clothing that is made for exercise
The t-shirt and jeans that you wear are not be suitable for the gym. Workout clothes are designed to keep sweat and moisture away from the body. Cotton t-shirts, while breathable, can keep moisture close to the skin. Jeans similarly trap moisture next to the body and are also too restricting. Instead, shop for fitness wear that is made to be quick drying and moisture wicking. Look for items with polyester, spandex, and mesh ventilation panels.

3. Wear a good sports bra

An important part of looking good in the gym is wearing a good sports bra. Working out can include alot of jumping and running, activities that can cause breast jiggle and discomfort. If you are heavy breasted, look for sports bras with wide straps that provide good support. Make sure they are made of breathable fabrics to avoid chafing.

4. Wear footwear appropriate for your workout
Look for shoes that are appropriate for your exercise routine. Exercise footwear is designed to be activity specific. If you are a runner, look for a good running shoe. If you are an aerobics fanatic, pick a sneaker that is made for aerobic workouts. Picking the right shoe for your activity will guarantee you get the support you need and help you avoid injury.

5. Avoid wearing jewelry

As a general rule, your jewelry should not be a part of your workout ensemble. While you might want to keep your wedding band on, wearing too many rings can make it difficult to grab weights or handles on exercise machines.

Follow these simple tips and you will not only look good inside and out of the gym, but you will enjoy a successful workout too.

IVE JUST CAME BACK FROM CROATIA (DUBROVNIK). IVE BEEN LOOKING INTO THE IDEA OF MOVING THERE TOO, ONLY THING IS I HAVE NO MONEY TO SET ANYTHING UP THERE!! THE LURE OF GOOD WEATHER AND DIFFERENT WAY OF LIFE ATTRACTS ME!!! CROATIA BASICALLY REALIES ON TOURISM, THERE ARE VERY FEW JOBS AND UNEMPLOYMENT IS VERY HIGH, SO YOU WOULD HAVE TO SET UP A TOURISM BUSINESS VENTURE. IN DUBROVNIK THERE ARE A LOT OF ROOMS TO RENT BY LOCAL PEOPLE WHO WANT TO MAKE AN EXTRA FEW EURO. LAND IS VERY EXPENSIVE IN DUBROVNIK AND ALSO, MOST PROBABLY SPLIT. WHEN I WAS THERE I MET A MAN WHO HAD SPENT 4 MILLION EURO ON HIS VILLA AND IT ONLY HAS 9 APARTMENTS. OK, THIS IS THE EXTREME BUT YOU GET THE POINT. PLACES LIKE CAVTAT AND POREC ARE CHEAPER THAN DUBROVNIK AND MANY PEOPLE ARE BUILDING APARTMENTS THERE.. UP THE OTHER END AT PULA, TOURISM IS BECOMING MORE AND MORE POPULAR AS MORE AIRLINES ARE STARTING TO FLY THERE. IM NOT SURE IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO BUY LAND THEN BUILD OR TO BUY AN APARTMENT BLOCK ALREADY DONE BUT, THERE ARE A LOT OF FOREIGN INVESTERS THERE AND YOU MIGHT HAVE A STRUGGLE TO FIND SOMETHING SUITABLE.

EMAIL ME IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS. I HAVE A FEW CONTACTS THERE SO I MIGHT BE ABLE TO HELP..

HOPE THIS HELPS
DARREN

Dazza230 - Looking into heading over to Croatia myself - will secure a long-term rental initially till I get the "lay of the land"

Anyway, couldn't help noticing you had contacts there in Croatia? What areas might they be able to assist a Yank wanting to come over?

I anticipate starting up some type enterprise catering to the burgeoning tourism the coastal resort towns are enjoying. Please email me any info I might find useful and certainly the contact info for the gents you left behind in Croatia. I'll buy 'em a pint or two in your name!

Thanks in advance, Dazza230.

Hi Alvin,

Thank you for replying .... I have never been to Croatia and am only in the very early stages of gathering information about the place. So at this moment in time I have not much of a clue where I would like to end up should I make the move.
My biggest stumbling block could be the language barrier, Cyprus is/was obviously not too much of a problem because majority speak English, not to mention, being surrounded
by ex pats!
But I guess my starting point has got to revolve around finances. Ideally I would like to be able to retain my humble property in Cyprus as a safety net should things not work out wherever I go.
My point from my original post about getting views from people who have already made the move is that I did so much research on Cyprus before coming here and made sure [as best possible in the limited time I had] that I had covered every angle. But having got here I have realised that so many of the things I worried about were so unecessary yet other important things I had completely overlooked!
Poor internet access over the last week or so has been frustrating so am only just getting back to research! But if you, or anybody else could share their experiences of Crotia and where best to reside on a limited income I would be so grateful.

Introduction

The lands that today comprise Croatia were part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire until the close of World War I. In 1918, the Croats, Serbs and Slovenes formed a kingdom known after 1929 as Yugoslavia. Following World War II, Yugoslavia became a federal independent Communist state under the strong hand of Marshal TITO. Although Croatia declared its independence from Yugoslavia in 1991, it took four years of sporadic, but often bitter, fighting before occupying Serb armies were mostly cleared from Croatian lands. Under UN supervision, the last Serb-held enclave in eastern Slavonia was returned to Croatia in 1998.

Overview:
Once one of the wealthiest of the Yugoslav republics, Croatia's economy suffered badly during the 1991-95 war as output collapsed and the country missed the early waves of investment in Central and Eastern Europe that followed the fall of the Berlin Wall. Since 2000, however, Croatia's economic fortunes have begun to improve slowly, with moderate but steady GDP growth between 4% and 5% led by a rebound in tourism and credit-driven consumer spending. Inflation over the same period has remained tame and the currency, the kuna, stable. Nevertheless, difficult problems still remain, including a stubbornly high unemployment rate, a growing trade deficit and uneven regional development. The state retains a large role in the economy, as privatisation efforts often meet stiff public and political resistance. While macroeconomic stabilisation has largely been achieved, structural reforms lag because of deep resistance on the part of the public and lack of strong support from politicians. The EU accession process should accelerate fiscal and structural reform.
