NIGHTLIFE IN CROATIA
GENERAL
Nightlife in Zagreb is varied but not obvious. You have to look for the action. Besides the usual complement of bars and cafes, there are casinos, jazz clubs, discos, cinemas, and comedy clubs to occupy even die-hard night owls. Lately, Jarun Lake has become hot year-round with "branches" of almost all of Zagreb's popular bars setting up shop there.
Zagreb is a great town; I only spent a few nights in the City but had great nights out at Jarun & Tklavciceva Ulica.
In July & August, Zagreb turns into a ghost town. Every Croatian that can, along with hordes of tourists go to the Dalmatian coast in July & August. In my opinion for someone in the 20-35 age range looking to let loose in Croatia during the summer months, Zrce Beach on the Island of Pag is probably the ideal spot. It is a beautiful beach surrounded by 3 indoor/outdoor 24 hour dance clubs.
I still have much to see and experience in Croatia. I have never traveled south of Zadar & Dogi Otok yet. Anyone have recommendations for places to visit?

I'm not aware of any tango community in Dubrovnik, but on the other side of the border with Montenegro, in Herceg Novi, we organise Tango events and festivals.
If you're in Dubrovnik and want to dance tango check if there's anything on in Herceg Novi.
