Many expat spend much money for flight to fly to HK or any place outside of china just for working visa application, actually you can even switch your L/F to working visa without leaving china at all, I have a couple of friends who've done with that, and which is very convinient.
Solution one, to apply for the working visa without leaving china
step1, to get employment license
step2, to switch from L/F to Z visa directly without leaving China
step3, to apply for working permit
step4, 1-year residence permit application
Solution two:
step1, to get employment license
step2, to apply for the working invitation letter
step3, to fly to HK with the employment license and letter and use them to apply for a Z visa in HK
step4, come back in beijing with Z, then apply for the working permit
step5, 1-year residence permit application |
