Hi everyone, Charles here I've just moved to GZ from Hervey Bay in QLD. I have been visiting GZ over the last year and have now decided to stay here full time. My girlfriend moved here with me and is planning to teach English. We've only been here a week and are still trying to find an apartment. I have a few Chinese friends from work which is where I'm currently living but look forward to meeting some expats also and hear about their experiences in China.

I'm Dave from you guessed it Penrith.lol.
I was just looking through this site and was laughing at how many or you are from ;Penrith.I live in Cranebrook near St Pauls .lol.
I am 40 years old and doing my TESOL certificate and wanna teach english there in Guangzhou early 2008,maybe february.

wow so many Australians... well I am currently doing my travel arrangemants for Guangzhou, will be living in the Clifford Estates.
Am 35 and will be staying for 3 years. Am in the electronics industrie (lighting).
Definately interested in drinking beer, meeting all kinds of people, swap experiences, do adventure travel (Offroad- Bike or Jeep), Photography (B&W)
....
