As home of Giant Panda, Sichuan possess quite a lot of Panda Nature reserve and research base. It is a must visit for any of tourist to Sichuan, but have you thought of close touch with panda in stead of a simple watch through cage? We provide Panda Volunteer Project for those Panda lovers. You will follow the crew in Panda garden to do their daily work. Under their guidance, we will clean cages, feed , wash bamboo for pandas, etc. It will be the closest touch with this lovely creature. Besides it, you will also relax in the traditional Southern Chinese village.
Schedule:
D1.Arrive in Chengdu
Arrive in Chengdu then check in our hotels.
D2.Chengdu/Shangli 160km 2 hours
In the morning we go to Bifengxia Nature Reserve, here we will sign contact with local institute on Panda volunteer work, and then we will drive to Shangli old town. It is a beautiful village with traditional Chinese house, river, bridge. Just enjoy your time here. Night at local guesthouse. (BLD)
D3---D4 Panda Garden Voluntary Work
We will begin our voluntary work at the Panda Garden. An experienced crew of Garden will guide us in every day’s work, such as cleaning the rooms for panda, feeding pandas, etc. The panda riser will give us his/her real story of rising panda. They will teach us how to cook for panda, how to clean the room and garden, and how to give panda treatment when they are ill. After learned that we will use our own hand to look after panda. Return Shangli Old Town everyday. Night at local guesthouse. (BLD)
D5 Shangli /Chengdu
In the morning we will drive back Chengdu, and transfer to other area. (B)
Price : US $ 495.00/ per person . Single Supplement : US $ 85.00
Minimum 2 travelers registered. Private tour is welcomed and the cheaper prices need to be discussed individually.
Prices included Service :
1. All the accommodations. In Chengdu it will be 3 star hotel and about 4 star hotel in Wolong.
2. All the Chinese meals in the tours. Breakfasts in hotel, lunches and dinners in the tourist restaurants.
3. Bus transportation between hotels and tour sites
4. English-speaking Guide service.
