| My husband and I have moved to chile to work and are shipping all our household stuff and other personal belongings over. I've heard that all items, used or otherwise, are taxed on entering Chile. Has anyone done this before and did you manage to reduce your tax liability? I don't want to be taxed on the new value of stuff I already own if I can avoid it. Any advice on how this works would be really welcome! |
