Brunei is a peaceful country, and you sure will have alot of quality time for family life.

Job opportunities mainly restrict to oil related - Shell is a big employer here, or if not teaching in international schools is another good option.

There are international schools here - JIS and ISB...

Fellow expats, please don't shoot the messenger but, the firm who shook the British Government to its core by exposing the UK government expenses scandal is now turning their focus on the Brunei Royal Family and the Sultan of Brunei. Their attention is focused on a financial scandal against a British business man who worked for a senior member of the Brunei Royal family. The web site is called RoyallyShafted. The site and story is slowly releasing the details of what has been going on and according to the site, it's about to hit the main stream media. The firm exposing this have a massive reputation, especially after recently exposing the biggest scandal in the UK government for more the 100 years.

The site is credible and is packed with documents and hard evidence to support it. Now that it's being driven by this professional firm to expose the scandal it will be interesting to see where it ends up!

I found a universal pharmacy coupon that you can get via text message. The savings vary by drug and anyone can use it. I showed the text to my pharmacist and she enters the coupon numbers. She also added the coupon to my account so I get the discount every time.

You can text TXTCPN to 368266 to get the coupon. There is no charge outside of what you pay for text messages (but who doesn't have unlimited txtng anyway!) and you can use it as many times as you want, even forward it to others.

Cheers!

                                      Hello,

Need a magician? No problem.
I do tradeshows, coperate shows, birthday gigs... You name it!

OK a little bit about myself:
My name is Kenny Wong, I was born in 1988 at Miri. I started to love this art of magic when I was 7. David Seth Kotkin( David Copperfield) inspired me. I started magic when I was 9.

Age of 15, I went to China to learn the art of Mask-Changing( Bian Lian).
Hoping to compete in FISM( Fédération Internationale des Sociétés Magiques) during 2012 at BeiJing. It is a world class magic competition that occurs once every 3 years. I performed at Hong Kong, Philipine, Vietnam etc.

Thank you for time!
hey,

I am wondering if anyone has information about the number or percentage of expats living in Brunei and maybe even a breakdown by nationality?
I am thankful for any kind of information concerning the different nationalities of expats living in Brunei

Hope to get some replies...
everyone else, peace be upon those who follow righteous guidance,

I am looking for the following info on brunei as i am seriously wanting to move there with my family.

First of all, what is the rule on autopsy in brunei? this is one of the reasons we are leaving the uk.

I cannot find much on the net so if anyone involved in the medical service in brunei and could advice would appreciate it.

2ndly, are the free and subsidized medical facilities for residents as well as citizens? if not what are medical fees like? what about other benefits, are they only for citizens only?

How easy is it to get citizenship? what is the procedure and rules of this. how long does it take from moving to the country, before you can apply and then how long until completion.

Is duel citizenship possible? Would if possible like to keep my british passport as they are quite handy and you never know what might happen in the future.

I don't have a degree, but I am quite a skilled office administrator, ok my wage isn't going to be huge but would it be possible to find work doing this if i only speak english initially on moving to brunei?

Is school compulsory or is it possible to home-ed allowed in brunei?

think that is enough questions for now, hope someone can help.

I've now determined that law degrees from Australian universities are recognised in Brunei but to work as a lawyer in Brunei one needs to be a permanent resident or have practised in a common law jurisdiction for 7 years.

I have scoured the websites for the Bruneian government but can find no information on applying for permanent residency in Brunei. Does anyone know the requirements for permanent residency? How long does one have to have worked in Brunei in order to be eligible?

Any responses would be greatly appreciated.
my interaction with him included him asking me to help him invest money secretly... seemed very suspicious. eventually he told me to contact different people who said they had a check for me and i would need to send money for them to send the check.
