The Brazilian Governament has published new rules for those who apply for permanent investor visa.
The minimum amount required for investment now is R$ 150.000,00 and the RNE (foreigners ID) will be valid not permanently anymore, but for 3 years. By the end of the 3 years, in order to renew the document the foreing investor must proove the creation of new jobs for Brazilian workers. The new rules does not mention how many jobs must be created, so as far it is more than one we suppose it is OK.
