Oi! brand new to this forum. I am most likely visiting Brazil in July. I am dual Italian/American citizen but was born and raised in the USA. I have been told that if I visit Brasil, it is best to use my EU passport to avoid paying for the tourist visa prior to entering the country. My only concern is that in my Italian passport it shows where I was born and where my current residence is which is here in America. This shouldn't matter when coming to Brazil should it? I would be entering the country as an Italian.

Also I am thinking of working in Brazil later this year. Under which nationality should I obtain a working visa, American or Italian. Does it matter??

thank you!
