NEWS UPDATE
The government of Nepal has recently announced that all trekkers MUST now be accompanied by a guide from a registered trekking company. This means that independent trekking in Nepal is no longer an option. A Taste of Nepal caters for the independent trekker by tailor making treks to suit individual needs, keeping group size small and taking a slower pace than most other companies.
PUTTING SOMETHING BACK!
To date, along with generous supporters, we have constructed three clean drinking water systems in a remote area in Northern Nepal. Using a grass roots approach, with simple technology, we have brought clean drinking water and in some places sanitation to over 200 villagers. Other projects are planned to bring about sustainable long term benefits in partnership with the communities themselves.
