Hi,
I am an experienced Senior C++ progrmmer and have visa history for Schengen (valid for 13 countries of europe) plus for UAE on my passport.
A couple of months back I went through the interview and online test process of a very good company 01Systems WLL of Bahrain, everything went well and I got good offer and committed to join them. But a very unexpected thing happened, I was told by the company representative that they are facing problems for my visa and asked me if I am interested in working remotely as I scored high in their tests and interviews.
I looked into the matter and asked different ppl and got a feedback that Bahrain government is very much biased against Shia Muslims and do not give visa to ppl having names similar to shia ppl. Still I asked to company to persue my case to the final extent and finally I am told that my visa is rejected and nothing can be done in this regard. On the other hand my juniors who are hired by the same company are given visa very smoothly.
So I don't know what kind of foreign affairs crap is it that a genuine case of a competent person is rejected by the government just because my name suggests that I am shia. Can anyone suggest if there is a way of probing the official statement for the rejection of my visa, i.e. what the government officially says about the grounds for my visa rejection.
adios,
ali. |
