Expatriate Forums in Bahrain

I am from SA and living, working in bahrain. I have a few friends here, but they are all married and have children. So, the main topic normally with these kind of people is the new born baby's. I am single and is reaally tired of hearing what the little ones have done the last few days.

Sometimes, I just don't know why I left my home country and my friends to come here.

Is there maby people in the similar situation that I am in? Question

Single as well here and love coffee bar hopping, shall we do coffee sometime if you'd like it? i'm not new to the place but al looking to make more friends and engage in personal networking.

Nice to here from someone. This is not the most active forum I've seen.

Coffee sounds great. I have been in bahrian for a few months now, but still don't now all the hotspots. Do u have a suggestions?

well it depends where you'd like to go. i'm located near the Seef area, not sure if you'd like to do coffee at costa coffee, starbucks or even some of the coffee bars near the malls, completely up to you.

i guess it would make more sense to do coffee some place which is closer to you since you're new to bahrain. My sense of directions are miserable but i'll eventually reach the place Smile

I have no problem with any coffee places, so any starbucks or costas will be fine. I live in juffair but my directional skill are not to bad. Ive been to seeff a few times, so it will not be a problem to go there. It is also close to my work. I have only fridays of, so anytime after 6 in the week is fine with me.

I also can't send a PM.
