| Where is the best area to live in Bahrain? Is Saar a nicer area than let say Adilya? How safe is Manama compare to London? Thank you for your help. |

Hello Capri,
I have just stayed in Bahrain for 6 month, as i can see Adliya is a nice place to stay, since it is near to go anywhere and to get everything.
In Saar, it is also nice but i don't know about this area.
Manama for only walking and shopping is safe even at Manama Public Market (Souq), but not for living because it it too crowd. |

| After an initial visit a few weeks ago, I think Bahrain was wonderful. People were very friendly and it felt very safe. We found a lovely house in Saar, but some other areas were nice as well. Hope this help. |

Hi, I think best place for expatriates to live in Bahrain is AMWAJ ISLANDS. Unfortunatelly the prices are abit high there but the facilities are really good. In my opinion it is the only place in Bahrain where you can swim right infront of your house, great for water sports, 5 min to airport, %99 population are expats, one of the best international schools is standing there and so on. I may offer you a web site 'bahrainventure, com' in which you may find properties direct by the property management/developer company...
wish you all the best. |

| I have a 3 bed waterfront villa in Amwaj that I am looking to share. Shared pool, in-home gym, full time housekeeper, separate living areas can be arranged. Must love dogs, must be non-smoker. Prefer western-expat professional, M or F OK. amwaj - at - mailunite - dot- com |
