Expatriate Forums in Bahrain

A friend of mine has been selected as a "Finance Manager" in a company in Bahrain.
He is reported to have 'Hepatits B s ag' . He is otherwise hale and healthy. Will anyone guide whether he will be permitted to work in Bahrain. Will there be a medical check up there in Bahrain apart from the one conducted in India?

i read ur message about hepatits b. that is also my major problem. i had an offer in bahrain but i turned it down before they got my visa. i dont know about the medical situation but i was afraid if i accepted d offer and they will send me back once they found out in the medical that i have hepatitis b. same with your case i am also healthy and d doctor said that it cannot affect my work. have you found an answer to this? how bout in other countries? what are the countries that are not strict in this kind of case. i am very much sad i lost many opportunities abroad. please try to help
