I used to live in Dubai and now live in Vancouver. Having watched the US$ fall and knowing that the Dirham is pegged to the US $, I think people should be aware of gold's role as a hedge against the US $.
And with the UK Times newspaper reporting that a leading Asian investment bank is calling for gold to rise from its current $ 800 per ounce to $ 3,400, people should consider investing in gold or gold mining companies.
