| We are looking for advice and ideas, for areas within commuting distance by rail to Sydney. Preferably near the coast, with the option to buy, Are there any websites etc. Is it advisable to live in areas where there are expats or do the Australians make you welcome. :D |

Hi Wendywoo, the Aussies are similar to the Brit's. There are some good ones and the bad. Sydney is very multi cultural, crime is getting like Britian also, meaning that Police don't seem to want to do the job we pay them to do.
OK lets not go on about that. Sydney rail would be the most unreliabl service in the world, they never run on time! OK where I live "Godford" is about 1.5 hours by rail, ok it's a long way but our rail makes up for late running train with rather cheap fares.

There are many web sites to many to list.
