This is Australia and anyone wanting to migrate here should respect our way of life. What would happen to me if I wore my favourite clobber in Iraq. I would be shot no questions asked.

I'm only 3 years too late with this post but hey better late than never!! no i do not think that Muslims should be allowed to wear head scarves. If i moved to a Muslim country id respect their rules and way of life by dressing appropriately yet they come over to the UK, free house, money each week from my hard earned taxes and then dictate to us how they are going to live?? hello when in Rome and all that!
i totally understand that some of these are in danger in their own countries but if its that dangerous why do you all go back for holidays each year?
My daughter wasn't even allowed to celebrate Easter one year at school and why because it is offensive to other cultures??? instead they were taught about some other religious festival, OK we are a diverse country with lots of different cultures living here, but the emphasis should be teaching our kids about our culture and heritage this is the UK don't come into our culture if you don't respect OUR way of life.
I will probably be slated for this post for being honest, but is it little wonder a lot of folk from the UK are moving to Oz?
Well spud, done worry mate i will not impersonate a letter box when i come over, i wont drain your hard earned taxes or dictate what festivals to celebrate Na for me its a big hat with corks hanging from it all the way!!!
