The Fabulous Fall Refresh: Out with the OLD and in with the BOLD!

Monday, October 12th, 2009
9 PM - 11 PM EST
Cost: FREE

Join Certified Expat Life Coach Sarah Novak, CPCC of Envision Life Coaching for The Fabulous Fall Refresh - A chance for you to throw out the tired, old behaviors that are no longer serving you and substitute them for BOLD, FRESH ACTION in the area of your choosing. Get ready for some powerful insights! Sarah will provide the tools and structure - all you need to do is show up ready to explore with an open mind.

Benefit #5: Gain clarity on what's next for you
Benefit #4: Learn what inspired action is and how you can take it
Benefit #3: Receive accountability in a supportive and interactive group setting
Benefit #2: Get an overall snapshot of what is and isn't working in your life right now
Benefit #1: Come up with your BIG action step that will sky-rocket you to the next level

This conference will feature the interactive Tele-conferencing technology of Maestro Conference, making it more like an in-person workshop than a teleseminar. Users will be able to raise their hands to ask questions, participate in polls with the click of a button and anonymously request to have follow-up from the presenter after the call. A portion of the call will also be spent in break-out rooms where groups of 3 will strategize to create impactful homework assignments. This will be like no other conference call you've ever been on! Hope you can join me for this FREE interactive experience!

Warning: This is not for the faint of heart! By the time you leave the call, you'll have committed to a specific, life-changing action that the group will hold you accountable for. Come be inspired by your peers and see what's possible for YOUR life at the Fabulous Fall Refresh!

Please note: There are no charges to participate other than long distance but if you're using a cell phone then there won't be any charges at all. Just an FYI, if you have a land line with free long distance, those tend to have less interference than cell phones. VOIP lines should work fine as well.

So if I've convinced you that this is a MUST-ATTEND event, then all you need to do is register at my Envision Life Coaching Website on the Product Offering Page. The workshop starts at 6 PM EST/8 PM CST/9 PM EST and will last 2 hours. See you there!

Warmly,
Out with the OLD and in with the BOLD!

Warmly,
PET OWNERSHIP & GROOMING IN SINGAPORE.

This 'pet friendly ' nation, has given rise to better pet care/health services and products. I get e-mails from expats soon to be posted here asking about the rules and legistration on pet ownership in Singapore. They have all come away feeling very relieved and confident that their pets have a place here and its well being will be cared for by the many pet professionals rendering their services on this island. So naturally, there is no shortage of grooming establishments in Singapore. Some operated by more competent groomers than others. Word of mouth is usually the best type of advertisement. Do some research before you take your pet to any grooming establishment.

Owning a pet has never been more convenient. With a host of pet taxis, and ambulances, we don't even need to accompany our pets to the groomers. In fact, much too convenient!
So much so that there is a growing number of pet owners whose only relationship with groomers, is by communication over the phone. This brings me to the point that pet owners should check out the grooming establishment and groomer in the interest of their pets.

Visit the salon and talk to the groomer about methods used in the shop. Check out the groomers' credentials, condition of the salon, its cleanliness and the equipment used .
An unhygienic salon promotes the spread of skin diseases and pests such as ticks and fleas. Our humid climate in Singapore is breeding ground for fungal and bacteria spores and contamination is common when unsterilized blades and other equipment are used. Do not only discuss the style of clip you want for your pet but also any health condition that your pet may have and agree on the time for collection. Efficient grooming salons will have your pet ready in 3 hours. Your pet will be happier if it need not have to wait the entire day after it's grooming to see you. When you collect your pet, give it a good look through and highlight any shortcomings on the grooming. Accidents can happen whenever a groomer is using sharp instruments, however more groomers are accidentally injured than pets. Should your pet suffer a nick, the groomer should inform you so that proper care can be taken to prevent infection. A dog that has delicate skin might clipper-burn easily. The experienced groomer will avoid this problem but occasional irritations on the dog's skin are prone to burning. Take a pro-active approach to your pet's grooming and attention to skin irritation will prevent further problems.

Professional groomers welcome comments and will try to satisfy you and your pet before you leave the salon. Naturally this will have you patronizing them again. It's simply good business sense. Keep in mind those 'unhappy' visits to a grooming shop can make your dog dread grooming day. Mistreatment of pets is rare in a grooming salon. Most groomers love animals- that's why they groom them. Narrow the field down by patronizing shops that strictly groom pets only and you will be assured that they are dedicated groomers. The grooming salon that has an open attitude about its operation is one that you will be glad to have your dog visit again. Search Dog Care Singapore

Isn't your pet worth you taking time off to accompanying it to the groomers, preferably in the clean confines of your own vehicle. Play an active role in your pet's grooming and let the groomer be a partner with you in keeping your dog or cat healthy and happy.

                                      Hi Everyone,

I just joined this forum in order to find out more about whats happening in Balikpapan. Hopefully you all can share with me.

Can anyone tell me about places such as clubs or bars and restaurants where expatriates use to hang out? Also the workplace they go to, i suppose it would be oil companies.

I appreciate if one can help.
