Hi there,

I am from Australia. I will be visiting HK soon and will be doing some shopping. The problem is I have big flippers (feet!), size 8.5 - 9 Aussie
(European size 38-39 I think, maybe 40).

Anyone knows good quality inexpensive (US80 - US$100) for work and social. Not into pointy ones as they are pretty broad too. Crying or Very sad

Thanks.

ps. no problems with clothes. Laughing

Forgot to mention, women's shoes is what I am looking for.

Also interested in the Tsim-sha-tsu/Nathan Rd area/CBD/Causeway B area.

I wear Clarks and Rockports. Shop at :
In-Shoesnet at Harbour City Complex (Tsim-sha-tsui), has a variety of well made shoes; also a few other shops there;
Rockport at Pacific Place (Admilalty);
Time Square Complex at Causeway Bay has a few shoe shops.
Just bought 3 pairs 2 weeks ago,on sale price just under US$100/pr.

Big Flipper,

Ah,not a grandma yet:( hehe!!
You'll be surprised the range of styles they have in HK that I've not seen in Vanc/Toronto in Canada nor in M'sia.
Check out others too as they carry other name brands which are more stylisg but didn't fit my heels.
Check out Central high end stuffs eg LaneCrawford,G.Armani etc,but nothing under US$100/pr.
Those places are great shopping areas.

You can visit the Sincere Department store and sometime there have a big sales around 10 or 15% off. web site is www.sincere.com.hk . The most easier one to shop is stay on Mong Kok KCR station.

Marks and Spencer always - always - carry big sizes for all the current models.

Also, in Stanley Market , close to the end of the "main" alley, there is a shop that carries shoes up to 43. I don't have the name any more but it is one of the only women's shoe shop in Stanley.

Razz
Hi There

I visit Hong Kong quite regulary and I am a huge shoe fan, but also so have quite large and wide feet.

Lots of places selling size 41 shoes and most of them wide enough too, depends what you are after all the big department stores and designer stores sell our size.

The markets have also started catering for the bigger foot too, try Stanley, Temple Street and the Ladies Market.

(Enjoy last time I went I bought 10 pairs of shoes, they loved me at overweight baggage at the airport)
