It is interesting to note the utter defensiveness of the Filipino posters in this thread.
As always...Pinoy-Logic as usual.....better to "save face" by denying the truth and defending the obvious.

| Oh come on people! Don't be too sensitive OP (original poster) is expressing his observation not just towards the people but to the whole country. It is true that other poor countries like us 10 or 20 years ago had progress because they made an effort to do so. Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam etc... are not as poor as our country anymore. We are left behind because of our political and mental attitude. |

everyone,
no need to bash anyone. from all the postings, it's pretty obvious which views are EDUCATED, OBJECTIVE (not personal) & NOT BIASED (just a statement of facts from decades of socio-cultural studies), and perfectly articulated with no ill motive at all to anyone. these views, fortunately, are a sound estimation of THE KIND OF PERSON/CITIZEN OF THE WORLD/EDUCATED THINKER that person is-- and that is the true essence of being Filipino, My congratulations to FAYE for making the Filipino race proud. God bless you and SS SLI,too.
