I am a 33 year old Jordanian banker married and living in Abu Dhabi since 1978, I am organizing an Arabic language course for beginners as per the following details:-

Course title : Speak Arabic in 16 hours!
Course duration : 4 weeks (18 November – 12 December 2007)
Classes timings : Option of Sundays & Tuesdays OR Mondays & Wednesdays
No. of classes : 8
Class duration : 2 hours each class from 7 – 9pm
Total hours : 16 hours
Maximum No. : 10 Students
Course venue : My house!
Course fee : AED 800 (AED 50 per hour)

I ran a survey on 12 institutions that provide Arabic language courses in Abu Dhabi and found out the following:

1. The courses cost vary from AED 1000 to AED 3500
2. Most of them have daily classes which is inconvenient for many students
3. Most of them have long hours classes
4. Private lessons are expensive, they cost around AED 150 per hour
