i'm not much in exotic food and all known to me relatives are pure slavonic. so for me "hanoi" food is not bad at all. i work on khalifa str. and having lunch there time to time NL try and let us know native vietnamese opinion
i would recommend lebanese restaurant al mawal in hilton: first of all for arabic spirit (we in the middle east guys!); secondly for lebanese food, one of the best in the world on my opinion; and for delighting belly dancer performance (you can participate if lucky )
have fun! |

Yeah I wouldn't mind finding a decent lebanese place, haven't been that impressed with the corner shops so far.
Hey NL24, my parents are Vietnamese, so you can take my word, the food at that Hanoi restaurant was rubbish. Even I can make better vietnamese food than that place and I've never been to Vietnam! |

Given that my impressions of HK on my last visit was that it was dirty and smelly, I can't see VN being any better. There are millions of places on the earth that I haven't been to, VN isn't very high on my list of places to visit. |

I didn't mind Hanoi's food at all considering there is lack of good Asian food in Abu Dhabi. Saying that, if I compare it to Vietnamese food in Australia, of course it's no way close |
