Due to the certain development in the Malaysian government’s stance on blogging and its contents, Allo’ Expat is making a radical change to act accordingly

Members are reminded that Allo Expat is a Malaysian owned website. Although the Malaysian constitution guarantees freedom of speech it also imposes terms on what and how it is expressed. (You will find in Article 10 of the Malaysia Federal Constitution.) Allo’ Expat adheres to these terms, therefore callous and reckless remarks on racial or religious subjects will not be put up with. Also, Allo’ Expat is a family forums so please think before you post. Harassing/ explicit communications are considered to be those that may cause distress, disorder, and unwanted attention or other discomfort.

Moderators that are assigned to forums are responsible for each posting. Delete or edit any posting that does not comply with the forums guidelines. You are not to entertain any subject that is out of line as these posting gives Allo Expat nothing but negative publicity.
So in short do not hesitate to use your ‘scissors’ for postings that fit into the abovementioned category.

Moderators that are newly elected and seasoned mods must be in line with the forums guidelines. Failure to do so will be result in removal of mod status.

The directors of Allo’ Expat intend this forum to be a place for civilized discussion of interesting expatriate related topics. So lets keep it clean and reasonable.
